About Me

Drama Director. Filmmaker. Writer.

I am a freelance director and  award winning  filmmaker with 10+ years industry experience, based in Hampshire .  I also Shoot DP, edit and script write.

I have directed brand ads, drama, comedy, promos and training  films, working with companies like Gillette, Proctor & Gamble, The Army, The College of Policing and The Home Office.  My films have won awards around the international festival circuit and broadcast credits

My route into film came via producing and directing within the theatre. It was here that I learnt what a well cast actor can bring to a project. During the transition to film directing I was mentored by Jack Gold (The Naked Civil Servant, Aces High, Good Night Mister Tom) from whom I learnt a huge amount about the practical relationship between film and story.

I am a member of Directors UK and also a Senior Lecturer at The University of Winchester (BA Hons - Broadcast Television & Media Production) . I run directing actors workshops and am an awarding judge at the Winchester Short Film Festival.

So if you need a Director or Shoot DP for commissioned work or maybe want to discuss a project collaboration then do get in contact.
